Dr. Russel Williams, urologist, male fertility specialist, Houston, Texas "Male reproductive, sexual dysfunction and prostate problems are often tightly linked and very treatable. Men seek treatment to determine the underlying cause of their problem and to increase the quality of their lives. I specialize in treating men with reproductive, sexual and prostate problems through medical treatment, laser therapy, and surgical procedures. The goal of the Male Reproductive Clinic and Prostate Care Center is to maximize natural conception, quality erections and to minimize the symptoms of prostate enlargement."

Dr. Russel Williams is a board certified urologist. He is specialized in reproductive medicine, microsurgery, and male infertility. Dr. Williams has built a state of the art andrology laboratory providing standardized semen analysis and sperm washing for insemination.

Dr. Williams received his B.A. in chemistry from the University of Texas in Austin, graduating Phi Beta Kappa. He graduated in the top third of his class from Southwestern Medical School in Dallas in 1991. He completed a six-year residency in urology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. After he completed his residency, Dr. Williams did a six-month visiting fellowship and completed a microsurgery training course at the Center for Male Reproductive Medicine and Microsurgery at Cornell University Medical College in New York City.

In addition to his practice at the Male Reproductive Clinic, Dr. Williams is a clinical assistant professor at the University of Texas at Houston. He teaches medical students and residents the principles of microsurgery and male infertility. The University of Texas at Houston Medical Center now has an infertility clinic. Patients who are interested in participating in physician education can be seen at that location.

Dr. Williams is a member of several medical professional societies including American Society of Reproductive Medicine, American Urological Association, American Society of Andrology and Resolve Physician Referral. He currently serves on the hospital ethics committee at Memorial Hermann Memorial City Hospital.

Dr. Williams has authored or co-authored numerous scientific articles. His research work in the basic and clinical science has been presented at local and national medical meetings. Dr. Williams has been invited to speak numerous times on male infertility to both physicians and patients. He has appeared as guest of KSEV 700 AM Radio addressing questions on male infertility. Dr. Williams has been recognized numerous times for excellent scholarship.

Dr. Williams is a third generation native Houstonian. Dr. Williams is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish, both acquired during the time he lived in Brazil and Mexico. Dr. Williams lived in Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy for one year while working in Cagliari Municipal Hospital. His time away from medicine is spent with his family and enjoying both long distance running and soccer.
